I suggest shooting video only in landscape position (with the long edge of the image horizontal) to make the best use of computer and TV screens when playing the videos for family and/or friends.  This is often overlooked when filming (and photographing) with phone cameras, especially for those used to showing the videos/images only on the phone, but remember to film the “landscape”, even when filming only a single person, to make the best use of the computer/TV screen.
